Community Garden

The Roxby Downs Community Garden has been in the development stages and is now starting to become a reality.  The community garden will be located on a 1.48 acre site on a reserve bounded by Pioneer Drive, Alberrie and Mulgaria streets.

The Garden is intended to be a place for the community to ‘re-connect with each other and the earth’.  The Roxby Downs Community garden will be a sanctuary to release the stresses of everyday life, and another venue to meet people outside the home and work spaces. Community members are encouraged to utilise this space as an area to rest, relax, unwind, chat, play, wander and simply breathe.

Volunteers are the catalyst for the Roxby Downs Community Garden.  Currently the group has expanded with the new vision and is welcoming new volunteers who have a green thumb or a keen interest to get involved.
